Meet Scott

I’m Scott, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Recovery Coach professional.

I know that asking for help isn’t easy. You might have spent a long time trying to manage things yourself, keeping things private, or simply getting through each day as best you can.

My approach is warm, straightforward and non-judgemental. I’ll work with you at your pace, helping you understand what’s going on and find practical ways forward.

SM Therapy and Recovery

A smiling man with a beard wearing a light gray plaid suit jacket, a white dress shirt, and a light blue tie, standing in front of a bouquet of white roses.

You don’t have to keep carrying it alone.

Warm, compassionate CBT and recovery coaching for when life feels overwhelming, difficult, or simply not like you.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, difficult thoughts, addictive behaviours, gambling harms, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to work everything out before asking for support.

Maybe you’ve been feeling…

Anxious - Worrying constantly, overthinking or finding it hard to switch off

Overwhelmed - When everything feels like too much

Low - Losing motivation, confidence or enjoyment

Stuck - Caught in thoughts, behaviours or patterns that are difficult to change

Exhausted - Tired from trying to keep everything together

Not quite yourself - Something has changed, but you’re not sure how to explain it

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say to ask for support.
